Connect Groups
What are Connect Groups?
Connect Groups meet (usually in a home) to:
- connect with God and each other
- learn from the Bible
- pray together
- care for each other
Why meet in small groups?
Our congregation is large. Connect groups allow us to get to know some people very well.
"We listen in church, we read in our quiet time, but we talk and share at Connect groups"
What can you expect from a Connect group?
- To be challenged in a non-threatening environment to grow spiritually and in service to God.
- A developing sense of commitment to the group and to get to know members of the groups well.
- To develop some goals specific to your group e.g. study a book of the Bible or a specific topic or meet for dinner once a term.
- To have honest fellowship with trust, respect, and freedom to share with the group.
Connect groups meet most nights of the week at various homes.
