Morning Services

Cameron Griffiths will bring us God’s Word from Psalm 40, “Out of the mud and into the choir”. 

We extend a warm welcome to family and friends of Nancy Tan who are here to witness her baptism at the 10.30 am service. Nancy is involved with our ESL ministry. Pray that God will continue to deepen her faith.

Sunday School recommences today. Pray for the children and teachers as they start a new term.


Chinese Service

Rev Clinton Le Page will continue the sermon series on the gospel of John - Chapter 13.


Evening Service

Biju Mathew will bring us the message from Colossians 1, “Pre-eminence of Christ”.

Donvale Youth Group

From this term DYG will be a Fridays only event- 7:30-9:30pm. We will be looking at the parables of Jesus.

DYG starts on October 14 and we will look at the parable of “The Sower”. If you are high-school age, please come and join us. For more information, please speak to Cameron.

Guitarists & Bass players wanted!

Operation Christmas Child

We dropped 136 Christmas Boxes into Samaritans Purse this week. Thank you to all those involved in this amazing ministry. Please continue to pray for the children who will receive them. If you still have a box and want it to be sent this year, you can leave it in the church foyer or drop it off at the rear of

with God”.
Sunday School is now in recess for the school holidays and will resume next Sunday.

Robert Koh will bring us the message from John 12, “Devotion to Jesus”. We will celebrate the Lord’s Supper.

Morning Services: Rev Gerald Vanderwert will commence a sermon series on the letter of 1 John. This morning he will bring us the message from 1 John 1, “Make sure you got the real deal”.

Ken Lim will share with us at our Mission Spot. Ken serves with FOCUS Monash Uni.

Sunday School is now in recess for the school holidays and will resume on October 9.

Operation Christmas Child: The last date for returning the Christmas Boxes has been extended to next Sunday October 2.

Offering Envelopes: To assist with regular giving to the gospel work of the church, envelopes for October, November & December are now available in the foyer.

Morning Services: Cameron Griffiths will bring us the message from Philippians 1, “Winning at Life”.

At the 8.30 am service we have an adult baptism (John Luo), followed by an infant baptism (Joshua, son of John and Grace). We welcome their family and friends who are here to witness their baptisms.

At the 10.30 am service, we also extend a warm welcome to family and friends of Matt and Kathryn Pennycuick who are with us to witness the baptism of their son, Edward.

DYG Mildura Mission: Please pray for the young people who are in Mildura this week (19th - 25th Sept) to help run a holiday club.

Thank You: The pastors would like to thank those who helped with the meals and in so many other ways to make last Friday’s Heaven Dinner a success. A special thanks to the musicians too. And to you for your prayers. Continue to pray for the non-Christians who attended, that they may come to know the Lord and have the assurance that heaven is their eternal home.

Thank you: Heather Maddocks and family wish to thank everyone in church for their prayers and comfort on the sad loss of her husband, Len.

Invitation to Daniel Dixon's ordination and induction: Daniel and Melissa used to attend DPC. At 2.30pm on Sat 24th Sept Daniel will be ordained as a Minister and inducted as the pastor at Williamstown Presbyterian Church. The service will be held there at 87 Cecil Street, Williamstown. All are invited to attend and stay for the following afternoon tea.

Can you help? - A missionary family (John and Kara) will be returning from Vanuatu with their 2 children to Australia, and are looking for a place to rent (somewhere in Melbourne) for the first half of next year. If you can help or know of anything please let the church office know. Thank you.
