Sunday School

Sunday School is now in recess for the school holidays and will resume next Sunday, October 14.

Growing Families

Growing Families is on today after the 10.30 am service, meeting at Robyn & John’s home. Lunch will be provided followed by a short study. This will be our final study for the year, with a Christmas break up party later into Term 4. All families with children are welcome.

Assembly Opening Night

The Assembly commences tomorrow, October 8, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at Scots’ Church. Rev John H Stasse (Minister of South Yarra) will be inducted as our new moderator. Men’s Ministry

Next Sunday October 7, we will celebrate the Lord’s supper at the evening service and Chinese service.

Membership Classes

What is church membership? Why take it up? How to apply? To find out more, take a copy of the Membership Form from the foyer or hall. Membership Classes are held on all Sundays in October from 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm. Light lunch will be served. Interested? Please speak to Biju, Iain or one of the pastors.

“Freedom Sunday”—This morning we join with over five thousand churches around the world to hear and pray for the work of International Justice Mission. We extend a warm welcome to Joyce Harris who will share with us about the work of IJM and also her work in helping those who have been rescued from slavery.

Membership Classes

If you are a disciple of Christ and have been baptised, the elders encourage you to apply for membership. The membership classes are scheduled on all Sundays in October starting at 12.30pm for an hour. Please enrol through the membership form available. Details? Prison Fellowship

Looking for a skilled accountant/bookkeeper to assist the Finance Manager. This vital volunteer role would ideally be 2 days/week, based at their Doncaster office. For more details, please contact Christine. See the notice board.

International Justice Mission

“Freedom Sunday” There are more people living in slavery right now than at any other time in the world’s history. On the 23rd of September we will join with over five thousand other churches around the world to hear about and pray for the work of IJM.

Our Daily Bread

There are copies of Our Daily Bread available in both English and Chinese versions, in the foyer. Please take a copy to help with your daily walk  with the Lord.
