Evening Service

This evening we will watch a RC Sproul teaching DVD on ‘Lord's Prayer’. This evening will be the concluding sermon for this series on Prayer.

MORNING SERVICES - PLEASE NOTE CHANGE

As of this week, 4th February 2018, the combined English services for the morning will resume back to normal times.  Services will be at 8:30am and 10.:30am. No change to the  Chinese Service.

Sunday School

Sunday School will resume TODAY. Please make sure that you have returned any enrolment forms before then (please check the pigeon holes). If you have a child who will be 3 years old before March 2018 and you would like them to join Sunday School, or have any queries please contact Liz.

Lord's Supper - 6.30pm Service

LinC Pantry

Items needed for the pantry: breakfast cereal, rice, flour, cake mix, honey, sugar, coffee, long life milk, tinned fish, tomato sauce, school snacks, shampoo and conditioner, toilet paper, toilet soap, deodorant. Please place all donation in the LinC basket in the foyer. Thank you for your support.

Growing Families

Calling families with young children to join the Growing Families Group. 1st meeting will be on  Sunday Feb 11, for a time of lunch & fellowship. More information to come. Please see Emily if interested.

Alexandra Gardens

John and Bert have relinquished their roles in organising the monthly Alexandra Gardens service. We thank them for their faithful service over the years. We need two volunteers to take their place in order to keep this important ministry going. Is this an area of ministry you would like to serve in? If you are interested, please see Gerald or Clinton. Connect Groups

Meet to learn from the bible, pray together and care for each other. They meet in various locations on days through the week during the school term. If you are not in a group and would like to join one, please speak to Gerald or email the office.

The Lord's Supper will be celebrated this morning and thereafter on the first of each month. Rev Dr Felix Chung will bring us God's Word. He is the pastor of the Chinese Ministry. If we could drop a $2 coin each week into the Coins for Mission box in the hall, this will go a long way in meeting the urgent needs of missionaries. Note, this giving is in addition to the regular giving to Missions.

... to the homeless in the city is in urgent need of the following:
  • for men:
    • new socks
    • Shoes, runners, boots or walking shoes
    • warm coats
    • fleecy jackets/windcheaters
  • doonas/blankets/sleeping bags.
  • backpacks/medium suitcases on wheels (to hold belongings).
Please place items in box marked Salt and Light Mission in the hall, by the library books.
