Can I walk over and view 7-9 McGowans?

Not yet, as there are several safety concerns that need to be rectified first.

When will children be able to play on 7-9 McGowans?

Before we are able to use the property we must apply for a permit from council to use the property for church purposes (non-residential). Additionally, several other items need addressing such as:

  • Fencing

  • Hazardous items

  • Rubbish

  • Clear pathways

Can I park my car in the front yard of 7-9 McGowans?

Some clearing of space and markings will be completed first. In the interim, extra car parking space is available at the Verve Family Clinic.

Plans

Planning is ongoing and dynamic, but in the short term we plan to:

1. Enable Use of Property Without Improvement

A minimum set of activities need to be completed before we can use the buildings and grounds. These include fixing fencing, removing hazards, and getting council permission to use the property for church purposes

2. Improvements to Property

While the buildings will ultimately not be kept (as part of the master plan), they can be used in the interim with some refurbishment. Investment will be limited given the relatively short utility of these improvements.

Several other improvements to the grounds will dovetail into the master plan and hence more investment can be made. This includes the children’s play area.
