Our congregation is large, and connect groups allow us to get to know some people well. We meet to learn from the bible, pray together and care for each other.

The recent 7.5 magnitude earthquake and subsequent aftershocks in Papua New Guinea have resulted in more than a quarter of a million people in need of urgent assistance. The Mission Action Council had resolved to contribute money to help these poor people in need. We would be grateful for your contribution towards this need. Please place your love gift in an envelope marked ‘PNG appeal’.

Lost Property

There are lots of lost and personal items near the piano in the hall. This is your last opportunity to check through these items. All items that are not claimed will be given to the op shop.

Coins for Missions

If we could drop a $2 coin each week into the Coins for Missions Box, this will go a long way in meeting the urgent needs of missionaries.

We are looking for volunteers (whenever you can) to tidy our property by sweeping and clearing the leaves. If you can help, please email the office.

Cares, concerns, worries and anxieties are real, even to a Christian. Worry has the potential to weaken your faith and steal your peace. If this is you, you are welcome to the preaching of God's Word at the evening service when Biju Mathew will share with us what Jesus has to say about worries in his message from Matthew 6, ‘No worries, Mate’.
We will celebrate the Lord’s supper at the evening service.

Good Friday Service - March 30

Rev Gerald Vanderwert will bring us God’s Word from John 18, ‘What will you do with Jesus?
Half of our Good Friday offering will go towards the support of missions world wide.

Easter Sunday Service - April 1

Rev Clinton Le Page will bring us the message from 1 Corinthians 15, ‘If Christ wasn’t raised our faith is futile’.
Please note there is no evening service on Easter Sunday. You are encouraged to attend the meeting at Belgrave Heights Easter Convention. We meet for a picnic tea at 5 pm near the café at the auditorium followed by the meeting at 7 pm.

Fire Relief Appeal

The recent fire in the South West caused much damage and destruction. Among those affected was a committed Christian family from Terang Presbyterian Church. The Presbytery of South West Victoria has set up a Fire Relief Fund to help those affected by the fire.

Teddy Bear Picnic

Easter Biscuit Bake

For many years DPC has been baking homemade biscuits at Easter for Victorian prisoners. Each prisoner will receive 10 homemade biscuits together with a card that explains the meaning of Easter. COULD YOU PLEASE HELP US SHOW THE  PRISONERS THAT GOD LOVES THEM? Please see the notice board for details & place the biscuits in the box provided in the foyer by next Sunday March 18, 10.30 am service. For more details, please speak to Chris.
