  • This ministry provides a platform for Christians to discuss issues faced in today’s workplace, in the form of a Seminar & Discussion session.

    Who is this suitable for?
    - anyone in a leadership role who feel challenged
    - anyone who is a mature leader who can support others
    - anyone who just wants to know more

Ian Reilly will start with an introductory seminar covering the critical issues and then provide a supportive forum for discussion.

Visit the Christians in the Workplace page to find out what it’s all about.

  • These are small groups that meet usually in people’s homes, where people gather to connect with God through studying His Word, and in prayer, and to connect and build relationships with each other. These groups also enable people to be cared for in nurturing relationships, and are places where people are equipped to follow Jesus.

We have groups for ladies, young adults, those from Chinese background, and people of various ages and stages in life meeting in different locations.

  • Donvale Youth Group (DYG) is for all high-school-age students who want to know Jesus and make Him known. We provide an environment for youth to fellowship together as they grow in their relationship with God through Jesus and put this into practice in their lives. We truly believe that Jesus transforms lives and we are passionate to see that in all the youth who attend.

Our program runs every Friday evening during the school term from 7pm to 9:30pm at Donvale Presbyterian Church.

To find out more or to get involved, visit the DYG page.

  • The ESL ministry at DPC exists as a mercy ministry. It is offered as a community service by the church to people who need assistance with their English language skills.  The program aims to reach out to new migrants, providing a loving, caring and non threatening environment to learn, work and grow in.

  • "Growing Families" is for families with pre-school and primary aged children and meets monthly. We share a meal together then have a study/discussion time on a parenting related topic.

Our aim is to help families connect with and encourage each other and to equip parents to raise their kids to know, love and follow Christ.

Visit the Growing Families page to find out when and where we are meeting next.

  • There are members of the congregation who may on occasion need some help.

As a church family, it is our desire to be able to support each other.

If you would like to know more about this ministry, visit the Helping Hands page.

  • We desire to make the Gospel clear to children and to teach them in an age-appropriate way, to know, love and follow Jesus. To this end, children aged 3 to Grade 6 go out during the sermon (at the 10.30am service) for singing and learning from the Bible in a fun way. During School Holidays there is no Kids Church and children are invited to stay in the church service. On these Sundays we seek to engage the children with God’s Word.

  • Kids Hope partners with local primary schools and churches for one-to-one mentoring of children experiencing vulnerability. DPC is a part of this program and is partnered with Donburn Primary School. Each trained mentor is paired up with ONE child whom they spend ONE hour with each week to be their friend and provide support.

Visit our Kids Hope page to find out more.

  • A vital part of our church’s ministry is sending out missionaries to different parts of the world to serve the Lord. Christ’s call to go and make disciples of all nations (including Australia). We have a Mission Action Committee (MAC) that helps facilitate, support, fund and pray for missions locally and overseas. The committee meets quarterly.

Mission work in our church is supported by gifts, independent of the church offering - all gifts given to mission work go to mission work.

  • The Music Ministry at DPC aims to serve the church through songs that teach God's Word, express our response to Him and encourage each other. We have a balance of traditional and contemporary music in our services.

Being a part of the team involves commitment to serving with your gift on a roster, participating in rehearsals prior to services and attending occasional meetings and/or training.

If you are interested in joining the team, contact our Music Director!

  • This morning tea is organised monthly for senior card holders at the church. There is a brief talk during the morning tea, and occasionally there will be special events. This is an enjoyable time of encouragement and fellowship.

  • Where DPC women of all ages can gather together in small or large groups, to relate with like-minded women, to affirm each other as we journey in faith together. We connect with old and new friends, and encourage one another, spurring one another on to be the Light of Christ, wherever He places us.

It is also a great opportunity to invite our non-Christian friends along to our events. Visit the Women of GRACE page to get the latest news and details of upcoming events.
