Watch LiveThe Order of Worship
When you join us on a Sunday, you'll find a service that is simple, thoughtful, and centred on God's Word. While the exact order may vary slightly, our gatherings usually follow this pattern:
You're welcome to arrive early, find a seat, and settle in. There may be a few brief announcements before the service begins to help keep the church informed about upcoming events and opportunities.
The service begins with a short reading from Scripture and prayer. This moment helps us shift our focus from the week behind us to the God we have come to worship.
We sing together as a congregation, using songs that magnify God's greatness and remind us of who He is and what He has done.
We take time to honestly confess our sins to God. This is followed by a reading from Scripture that assures us of God's grace and forgiveness in Jesus Christ.
Having heard God's promise of forgiveness, we respond together in song with gratitude and joy.
We pray for the needs of our church, our community, our country, and our world—bringing everything before God in dependence on Him.
A short, gospel-focused talk designed to help children understand God's Word. During the school term, children then head out to age-appropriate Sunday School classes. Parents are also very welcome to keep their children in the service if they prefer.
This is an opportunity for members and regular attenders to give toward God's work through the church and the spread of the gospel. Visitors are not expected to give. The offering is usually accompanied by a song as we prepare to hear God's Word preached.
A reading from Scripture—often from both the Old and New Testaments—introduces the passage that will be explained in the sermon.
The Bible reading is explained and applied, helping us understand God's Word and how it shapes our lives today.
We respond to God's Word together in song.
The service concludes with a blessing from Scripture, as the pastor sends the congregation out with God's promise and peace.
At times, we may also recite the Lord's Prayer, the Apostles' Creed, the Ten Commandments, or other readings from Scripture as part of our worship.
"Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven."
— Matthew 19:14
We warmly encourage children to join in and participate in worship. Worship is not just for adults—you are welcome to keep your child with you throughout the service.
We believe that church is about people, not buildings. We hope that when you come, you'll feel welcomed as a special guest.
