Acts 6:1–7

The church grows not through programs or personalities, but through the faithful ministry of God's Word. As the apostles devote themselves to prayer and the Word, God causes the church to grow out, grow up, and grow together.

Hebrews 12:18–28

Having come to God through Jesus, we are called to offer God acceptable worship. This passage shows us that worship begins with God speaking and is shaped by reverence, awe, and obedience to His Word.

Christian maturity is formed over time as God's Word teaches, corrects, and trains His people.

God brings people to faith through the message of Christ. As the Word is proclaimed, God gathers His people and sends them into the world with confidence in His saving power.
